A new posting from the International Softball Federation has just gone up on the popular auction site, ebay.com. Up for bid is a package of items sure to interest both sports memorabilia collectors and softball enthusiasts alike.

The auction presents an exclusive opportunity to own items surrounding the 2000, 2004, and 2008 Olympic softball competitions.

This rare collection includes:

• Game ticket, 2000 softball competition in Sydney, Australia
• Game ticket, 2004 softball competition in Athens, Greece
• Game ticket, 2008 softball competition in Beijing, China
• Olympic softball media guide from 2000, 2004, & 2008 (published in a limited quantity for use by the attending media only)
• Olympic preview issue and Olympic wrap-up issue of World Softball magazine, relative to the 2000, 2004, & 2008 Summer Games

The game tickets are unused and in brand new (mint) condition. Each one is from opening day (first session) of the softball competition. While each of the tickets are from the limited batch that the ISF received, the Sydney ticket stands out further in terms of being a collector’s item due to ACCREDITATION REQUIRED, NOT FOR RESALE appearing on the ticket.

The media guides contain bios on every player on every team as well as statistics, records, etc. The 2004 (206 pages) & 2008 (230 pages) books are spiral bound. The 2000 book is 144 pages.

The (six) World Softball magazines are in English and Spanish.
