WEAR WHAT THE PLAYERS WILL WEAR
2010-04-01
While they last,
a limited supply of the commemorative patches that will be worn on the uniforms of the athletes at the upcoming ISF women’s world championship is being made available for public sale.
Commemorating the celebration in 2010 of the 45-year anniversary of the first world softball championship, the emblem will be seen on the uniform shirt sleeve of each athlete playing in the June 23-July 2 tournament in Caracas, Venezuela.
Selling for only USD$1.50 (one dollar and fifty cents) plus shipping, this patch bears the logo developed in January for the year-long commemoration of the 45-year anniversary of the first world softball championship, with five women’s teams having competed in Melbourne, Australia in 1965. The ISF’s newest merchandise item is a 2 ⅜” x 2 ⅞” full color patch with white twill background and black merrow (border around patch). This patch is for sew-on application (not iron-on).
The only others who will have the patch are the 2010 women’s world championship umpires, plus the team coaching staffs, and some tournament officials (organizers, VIPs, etc.).
The ISF ships anywhere in the world and orders can be paid for online via PayPal or by using their site to instead use a major credit card. Get your patch(es) now while supplies last!
